Celebrated annually on March 14th (3/14), Pi Day is a fun and delicious way to geek out about math! It's a day to honor pi (Ο), a mathematical constant that represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. People celebrate by indulging in pie (a tasty pun!), memorizing and reciting as many digits of pi as they can, or simply discussing its importance in science and math. This playful tradition dates back to 1988 and has even gained international recognition as UNESCO's International Day of Mathematics.Thursday, March 14, 2024
