Dear All

Recently I have attended a National Mathematics Conference held at Indore from 26 Dec 2011 to 29 Dec 2011. The topic was “TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION”. An exposure to graphic calculators by casio and texas instruments , use of iPad in teaching, some mathematical software’s such as geogebra, mathematica was given. It was a great learning experience.

--> Dear All We are well aware that CBSE is acknowledging the concept of internal assessment in Mathematics for the past three years wherein a student studying in class IX and X is supposed to submit a project work in Mathematics. Pi Minute is also sometimes celebrated on March 14 at 1:59 p.m. If Ο€ is truncated to seven decimal places, it becomes 3.1415926, making March 14 at 1:59:26 p.m., Pi Second (or sometimes March 14, 1592 at 6:53:58 a.m.). The Pi Day celebration includes public marching, consuming fruit pies and playing pi games... The founder of Pi Day was Larry Shaw, a now retired physicist at the Exploratorium who still helps out with the celebrations.        Pi has been calculated to be over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point. As an irrational and transcendental number, it will continue infinitely without repetition or pattern.
