PROUD TO BE A TEACHER

Hello All

Writing at my blog after a long time... My dear students and their love forced me to do so. Today 'Teachers Day' was celebrated in the school. I felt very good and honored by the love and affection shown by my students. Well, its not the cards or flowers which can ever make a good teacher but its the 'real' and unconditional love which do that. I thank to God to help me decide my career as a teacher. I am a teacher by choice and not by chance.

I THANK ALL MY DEAR STUDENTS TO MAKE ME FEEL PROUD BEING A TEACHER.

And yes, A token of love presented to me today by Aakash and Sasha, my dear students...

--> Dear All We are well aware that CBSE is acknowledging the concept of internal assessment in Mathematics for the past three years wherein a student studying in class IX and X is supposed to submit a project work in Mathematics. This project can be in the form of extended learning in the subject or related to real life situations as well. Click here to download the evaluation performa for the same. I have observed that students are usually confused while selecting the topic for their project work. Dear All, Pi Day is held to celebrate the mathematical constant Ο€ (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (3/14) , due to Ο€ being approximately equal to 3.14. Pi Minute is also sometimes celebrated on March 14 at 1:59 p.m. If Ο€ is truncated to seven decimal places, it becomes 3.1415926, making March 14 at 1:59:26 p.m., Pi Second (or sometimes March 14, 1592 at 6:53:58 a.m.). The Pi Day celebration includes public marching, consuming fruit pies and playing pi games... The founder of Pi Day was Larry Shaw, a now retired physicist at the Exploratorium who still helps out with the celebrations.        Pi has been calculated to be over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point. As an irrational and transcendental number, it will continue infinitely without repetition or pattern.
